Star Wars Trilogy features the films that started it all: Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. Besides the three movies (unfortunately presented in revisions of the 1997 Special Editions), the set includes a fourth disc full of bonus material.

Like Fox's original releases of the prequel trilogy, the box was released in both widescreen and fullscreen editions, and when inserted into a DVD player, each movie displays one of three different menus. Unlike the prequels, however, the disc labels contain original poster art for Episodes IV-VI, and Ralph McQuarrie concept art for disc 4. This was reissued in 2008 as Star Wars Original Trilogy.
