Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a 1937 animated musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney, based on the Grimm fairy tale of the same name. It premiered at the Carthay Circle Theatre on December 21, 1937, and released nationwide on Febuary 4, 1938. It is notable for being the first fully animated feature film in history.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was first released on VHS on October 28th, 1994, as part of the Walt Disney Masterpiece Collection lineup. It was then released as Platinum Edition on 2-disc DVD and VHS on October 4, 2001 and November 27, 2001, respectively, as the first Platinum Edition to be released, with the DVD version having digitally remastered picture and audio, as well as a bonus disc with all new bonus features. It then went back into the Disney Vault on January 31, 2002. Snow White was later rereleased again on Blu-ray on October 6, 2009 as the first of Disney's Diamond Editions, and a new DVD edition was released on November 24, 2009. The Blu-ray includes a high-definition version of the movie sourced from a new restoration by Lowry Digital, a DVD copy of the film, and several bonus features not included on the 2001 DVD. This set returned to the Disney Vault on April 30, 2011.[1]
